Sandakan Baptist Church (SBC) may not be considered a big church and look like a very ordinary church to a visitor. However, there is something very special and unique about this church. God has been doing a very special work at SBC. His hand has moved many from SBC pastors and ministers into many parts of Malaysia. Besides full-time workers, many Christian leaders from SBC are found in churches all over Sabah, Malaysia, and other parts of the world. Praise be to His wonderful name!
Our Mission is to “LEAD PEOPLE TO BECOME DISCIPLES OF CHRIST”. We are now reaching the community through our kindergarten, food baskets for the poor, blood donation campaign, festival celebrations, senior gathering, kids learning, youth activities and other special community talks. Therefore, we are in the process of raising fund for our “BERC Extension Project”. This will provide a 600 size hall which can be partitioned for various ministries such as weekly worship services, combine gatherings, camps and meetings. Besides that, the fund will help us to build more parking lots, a kitchen, a dining area, toilets and classroom. Do join us in prayer.
